About Us

My name is Lorie, and as a mother of two, I understand the challenges parents face in balancing family life, career, and faith. Inspired by my own journey, I created Hope For Children to provide practical, Catholic faith-centred resources that support both parents and children. I am passionate about counselling children and teens, focusing on behavioural therapy, and integrating faith-based practices. Grounded in my Catholic upbringing, the counselling services are designed to nurture a love of encountering Jesus in the lives of our children, fostering cardinal virtues of courage, kindness in pursuing the common good, reflective actions and mindful decisions, as well as establishing hope and resilience when they face challenging moments in their lives. Together, as parents, let us include Jesus in our conversations with our children, especially in matters of their hearts.
