About me
My name is Lorie, and as a mother of two, I understand the many challenges parents face in balancing family life, career, and faith. Inspired by my own journey, I founded Hope for Children to provide practical, Catholic faith-centred resources that support both parents and children in navigating today’s complex world.I am deeply passionate about counselling children and adolescents, focusing on behavioural therapy integrated with faith-based principles. Rooted in my Catholic upbringing, my counselling approach aims to help children encounter Jesus personally and grow in the cardinal virtues of courage, kindness, and the pursuit of the common good.A key focus of my work is building resilience among children in this generation—helping them develop emotional strength, a sense of purpose, and hope grounded in faith. Through reflective actions, mindful decision-making, and spiritual formation, I strive to equip young people to face challenges with confidence and grace.Together, as parents, let us bring Jesus into our daily conversations with our children, guiding them with love, wisdom, and faith, especially in the matters that shape their hearts and character.Qualification:
